Checked my broadband speed last night for AL6 0AJ – less than 7Mb download and 1Mb upload.
Quite frankly appalling

Chris hi,
Very Frustrating, and I agree simply not good enough.
Not Good enough for our Childrens’ Education, and it puts you at a real disadvantage in business.
The Bottom line is that BT are responsible for this.
If you wanted to get together some signatories, I can try to get something in the Local Press. That might get BT to act to make the problem go away.

7mb download? thats a luxury, in Welham Green we get 1mb download on a good day. No exaggeration, it’s like dial-up round here and I’m trying to run a business. It’s embarrassing.

Adam hi,
Very difficult to run a Graphics business on 1Mb I would think. What is the phone reception like in Welham Green? I have 4G on my Samsung Note3, and using that as a port using the tethering functionality I can get around 20Mb download speeds, wherever I can get a signal. I know Samsung are about to bring their prices down soon. My package with unlimited texts calls and Data, costs about £30 a month. Available from Carphone Warehouse in the Howard Centre WGC. Both of whom, provide a great service and help us with our activities. Blatant Back Scratching.
I hope that helps, and good luck with your business.
Yours
