This is a bit outside of our normal sphere of discussion.
There are some pretty graphic videos in this link. Impressed with the directness of the speakers.
The obvious question being “Why were our Governments not prepared, for their reaction to Putin? ”
The same reasons they were not prepared for the Pandemic or the opportunities from Brexit.
The chart below shows that sanctions are not working when it comes to the Russian exchange rate.
