Dear Members,
Here are some thoughts from the Chamber.
Bottom line is that I don’t see why businesses should yet again pick up the bill the bad decisions taken in Government.
We should have stopped the planes much earlier.
Singapore has managed their out break, why are we not doing so?
The economic consequences of this could be dire, and still we are not taking the right decisions.
Firms don’t need more loans to repay, they need compensation.
The civil servants who are so spectacularly failing to manage this, along with floods and the brexit negotiations, will continue to be paid and make contributions into their pensions. Where is the accountability in that?
Nowhere. which is why they continue to let us down.
Nick
