Martin Munro of The Alternative Board sent me this video.
Its about how to deal with uncertainty.
Stockdale argues, from his experience as a prisoner of war, that you need to face up to reality, and determine to come through it in whatever way you can, knowing that this challenge will be the defining moment of your life.
The paradox being that the people who did not come through it were the optimists.
The message being, that we need to come to terms with the fact that it might not all be alright on the night, and plan for alternatives. Come to terms with that. Then everything else will be an upside.
