Monk’s Walk is looking for a new Trustee. These can be very rewarding activities, and there is an information pack in the link below.

The Chamber is working with local schools on transgenerational learning, and would welcome / support one of our members in this role.




Appointment to the Board of Trustees

Start Date: ASAP

Voluntary, unpaid

Four-Year Term of Office is the norm but shorter terms are available.  The company is limited by Guarantee to £10.00

Monk’s Walk is a high performing, oversubscribed school seeking to appoint to its Board of Trustees individuals who are willing to share their skills, expertise and experience by serving on its Board.

It is the role of trustees to set the strategic direction of the school, monitor its work (including the use of resources), hold the school to account and support the school in providing a high quality and effective learning experience for all of its students.

You do not need to be a parent or have experience of the education sector to undertake this role.

The deadline for submissions is noon on Tuesday 22 February 2022. You will then be invited for a discussion about the role and to attend a meeting as an observer.
