The Office For National Statistics ONS have produced this graph for UK wage Vacancies
There were 857,000 job vacancies in June to August 2024, down 42,000 on the quarter and 143,000 on the year. It is still 61,000 above pre covid levels, though.
It looks as if Covid Loans created a peak, and as these fall due, the growth has not been delivered in proportion, and those jobs have fallen off the books.
