One of Hertfordshire’s highly acclaimed micro-breweries (The 3 Brewers) is located within the Welwyn-Hatfield Chamber area (although founded in St Albans) and this is your opportunity to attend a private visit and tour the brewery ending with a social with a fish and chip supper and unlimited beer (please drink responsibly!).
There are about 50 Micro-Breweries in Hertfordshire ranging from some pretty suspect home brew offerings to the first-rate, award-winning, professionally-run enterprises like the one in this visit.

The 3 Brewers say “Let’s raise a glass and toast the way it should be – local beer brewed by local beer lovers using local ingredients, including fresh water from our very own Hertfordshire borehole.”
There are seven super beers to try and something for all tastes ranging from dark mild through IPA to golden.
The visit starts promptly at 7pm with a 1 hour guided tour of the brewery where you will see and hear about the complete brewing process and also learn about the experience of setting up and developing a micro-brewing business. The second hour is an informal social session with all beers available to try on tap with a fish and chip dinner to help soak up the drink.
Note. If you have special dietary requirements please enter them in the comment box when booking. We have have limited dietary options but will try to address your requests.
The brewery is a short drive from Welwyn, Hatfield, and St Albans. We strongly recommend that you share taxi’s or minibuses with other attendees (or your own party) and will attempt to facilitate this by sharing information on request with those that book.
Bottled beers and mini-pins will be available for sale on the night. Cash is recommended although there is a slow hand-held card payment machine if you are stuck.
Finding the Micro-Brewery is fairly easy with a sat-nav by entering the postcode AL10 9BB. When you get to the entrance to the Symonds Hyde Farm in Symons Hyde Lane you turn into a drive with a security gate which should be open on the night. Keep right past the stables. The entrance to the micro-brewery is round the back. There is plenty of space for parking.
Places are limited and we have to order the food several days in advance so please book early. Why not book your party now?
