The Auberge has been completely revamped and has a new Head Chef, John Barber, who trained at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Knightsbridge, and following stints in Paris and New York, joined the Brocket Estate last year.
My wife and I ate there last week. The food was exceptional. Wine is extra however there is a well balanced wine list and a good choice by the glass. We were made to feel very welcome.
