Dear Members,
I think that the Diversity we have in the UK, is one of our key strengths in the Global Village. And yet we have a very high young male black suicide rate. I would like young people to know the contribution that the Black community has made to the UK, because I dont think it is recognised as much as it should be. This will help black kids to feel proud of their contribution and belong.
So the Chamber is supporting this initiative by Yvonne Davis to get this book 100 Great Black Britons into every secondary school in the UK.
